Curious about the origins of the name Lemony Pickle? Well, it all started with a playful family tradition – when my son did something silly, he was a lemon, and the rest of the time, he was a pickle. When searching for a unique shop name, Lemony Pickle felt like the perfect fit!

Originally from the North West, I made the move from Lancashire to Greater Manchester over 25 years ago, following a meeting with my now husband. 

In 2000, we said ‘I do’ in the magical surroundings of Walt Disney World, Florida (yes, really!), and our love for theme parks, thrill rides, and Disney magic has brought us back several times over the past two decades. While I also adore traveling across the UK, Cornwall holds a special place in my heart.

My professional journey has taken me through various industries – from hospitality and retail to hospitals and dentistry. Since 2019, I’ve embraced the world of self-employment, a decision that has proven to be my best move yet. This choice allows me the flexibility to be present for my child as he navigates his way through secondary school.
